Under the patronage of H.E. Mohammed bin Khamis Al-Badi, Member of Shura Council and Representative of Wilayat of Saham, the tour of Sandan Truck has recently been concluded in Saham Industrial Estate. The travelling route of Sandan Truck was launched at the construction and internal design exhibition held at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre as Sandan Truck includes a mobile exhibition designed in a modern manner and equipped with display screens and the project maquette. The travelling route of Sandan Truck was launched under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Mohsen bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, Head of Muscat Municipality and a number of their Excellencies. Sandan Development participated in the exhibition so as to familiarize visitors with Industrial Sandan City Project and its latest developments as the number of Sandan Truck visitors amounted to 3,000 persons who got familiar with the idea and details of the project of the first integrated city for light industries in the Sultanate. The project gained the admiration and interest of many of the exhibition`s visitors as it will make a quantum leap in organization with regard to industrial estates as Sandan City will be the first integrated city for light industries in the Sultanate. Sandan City will comprise automotive and construction industries over an area of 250,000 sqm with all necessary facilities and services available. Reaching out to workers and industrialists to get them familiar with the project is a key objective in order for Sandan City to become the ideal and integrated working environment upon its initial operation and is also an opportunity for direct contact to consider all suggestions and ideas related to industrial estates in Oman. It is noteworthy that the works of the construction package in the project reached 60% which is a positive indicator of speedy completion of construction phases in Sandan City. Sandan Truck started its travelling route from Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre and passed by 7 industrial estates, i.e.: Al-Maabelah, Saqsooq, Ghala, Wadi Kabir, Al-Amerat, Sohar and Saham so as to introduce Sandan City Project to all in general and to personnel of such industrial estates in particular. The exhibition of Sandan Truck was launched under the patronage of a number of their Excellencies in each wilayat. The project gained the admiration of several business owners and personnel in such industrial estates. The tour of Sandan Truck included many competitions for its visitors and via social networking websites so as to familiarize their users of Sandan Development and its developmental activities and projects.
