Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Sarmi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Sandan Development Company, the largest and fastest growing developer in the Sultanate of Oman, has signed an agreement with one of the largest student housing company in the United States, the Strategic Housing Group which also has its base in the Middle East, Asia and Africa, to construct the first residential campus for students in Oman.
This move by the Strategic Housing Group in Muscat is considered to be of increasing benefit to a vast number of higher education students. The residential complex of Myriad, Muscat, will be located close to Sultan Qaboos University, as well as a number of other higher education institutions too.
The residential complex will include 1550 rooms that have been meticulously designed and are furnished with comfortable and practical furniture, including study desks and attached toilets. Myriad offers students the option to choose single or shared accommodation as per their individual requirements. Each floor will be additionally equipped with contemporary styled common rooms as well as a fully functional kitchen that is fitted with the most modern facilities.
“The Myriad” does not just provide a living space for residents, but also ensures a comfortable stay, by providing two floors of shopping and leisure facilities which includes a range of restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, theatre, gymnasium, entertainment halls, and personal services in addition to the lounge. Parking facilities are also offered on two levels in the ground floor.
Myriad, Muscat has a unique architectural design that guarantees an atmosphere of comfort and safety. The Italian company Mandressi, responsible for the design of “Myriad, Muscat”, has ensured that the design was suitable for the local environment of the Sultanate of Oman.
