Sandan Development Company, the fastest growing real estate developer in the Sultanate of Oman, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Oman Post to set up acommercial unit for postal services in Sandan Light Industrial Park project, based on the endeavor of Sandan Park to provide all necessary services and facilities for employees, business owners, and park visitors.
CEO of Sandan Development Company, said: “This step is intended to provide all necessary services to be the first light industrial park in Oman. In addition, the postal delivery service will be available to all shops in Sandan without central postal boxes. Sandan has many commercial, industrial and residential units on an area of 250 thousand square meters. The population of the city is more than 10 thousand people. Moreover, giving this type of servicesincreases the vitality of activities and businesses in the park.”
The CEO of Oman Post expressed his happiness about this mutual cooperation. He said “This agreement comes as the company seeks to be present in commercial areas and cities in order to offer the best services for the companies working in these areas. He added “The Company has a number of services that achieve the citizens and residents’ desires which are the basic postal services and the additional postal services. The company has a network of 94 post offices spread throughout Oman, taking into consideration to bring postal and other services closer in the commercial, residential and industrial sites.”
It is worth mentioning that the construction in Sandan is proceeding according to the plan, where 70% of the construction has been completed and the metal cladding has been started in some of the project buildings. The running of Sandan Park will be in the third quarter of 2018.
