‘Sandan’ Development celebrated this evening the opening of Sandan Industrial Park, under the auspices of Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed al- Shabibi, Minister of Housing.
The minister of Housing said, ” The Sandan Industrial Park represents a modern model for the complete industrial parks, as its officials are keen to provide all service facilities, including government services related to doing business and stimulating commercial and industrial activities.”
The opening of Sandan Industrial Park comes to be the first integrated park for light industries managed by the private sector in the Sultanate. It is characterized by its location in Halban area, adjacent to the Muscat Expressway , with all specifications and services as a unique model in the Sultanate, as it is characterized by the complementarity between its commercial and industrial activities, especially those related to cars and building materials. It also accommodates services that cover all aspects, including banking services, communications, travel and tourism offices, restaurants, cafes, the medical clinic, and different-sizes residential apartments, a gas station and a mosque. The Sandan Industrial Park also has offices for some government agencies and offices for clearing transactions in order to facilitate business, making it an integrated industrial park.
Sheikh Saif bin Mohammad al- Shabibi, Minister of Housing and the attendees toured the industrial park city and got acquainted with its various facilities.
It is worth noting that this park includes the largest gathering of used car showrooms in the Sultanate, along with other services supporting the car market, such as insurance offices, finance offices, Sanad offices, stores and car maintenance workshops and many auto parts stores, in addition to other commercial and industrial activities, including activities related to building material stores.
