Sandan Development Company was honored for its support for tourism activities and its participation in the 2017 World Tourism and Culture Conference, The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Tourism, hosted the official celebration of the Arab Tourism Organization on the occasion of the Arab Tourism Day. The celebration comes as a continuation of the efforts and directives of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism and the Arab Organization for Tourism towards enhancing joint Arab cooperation and coordination of efforts to develop the tourism sector and activate Arab tourism through programs and events and promotion of tourism destinations in different cities, with a view to advancing the pace of cooperation and integration in tourism to further progress and prosperity. The ceremony also included presentations highlighting the most important cultural and tourism landmarks in the Arab countries aimed at shedding light on the existing efforts to stimulate Arab tourism and develop tourism sector, during the ceremony, artistic sections of the most important Omani traditional arts were presented, which in turn reflected the Sultanate`s heritage of cultural heritage.
